1) What is Mom’s Gateway?

Mom’s Gateway is a U.S.-based company offering customer support jobs from home. It’s perfect for moms and others looking for flexible work. You’ll work as an independent contractor.

2) Can I Work from Anywhere?

Yes, as long as you’re in the U.S. with a quiet workspace. You need a working PC/laptop and internet connection. Some clients may have location restrictions.

3) Are there any specific that need to be on my pc that need to be?

You need a Windows computer with a headset.

Operating System: Windows 7, 8.1, or 10 (64-bit).

Processor: A dual-core processor or better, with a minimum speed of 1.6 GHz.

RAM: At least 4 GB of RAM.

Internet: A reliable, hard-wired broadband internet connection (DSL, Cable, or Fiber Optic).

Ethernet Connection: The PC must be hard-wired via Ethernet and cannot be connected to Wi-Fi. Browser: Updated web browser like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

4) What are the costs to get started?

Certification course for the client you choose are Free

For background check $30. Platform fee $19.75 per pay period.

Each client sets their own cost, if any. We’ll inform you in advance — no hidden fees.

5) Why should I choose Mom’s Gateway?

We offer flexible, remote jobs with full support. You can work from home and earn on your own schedule. Ideal for balancing family and income.

6) What kind of work will I do?

You’ll help customers by phone, chat. Typical tasks include answering questions or solving problems. Everything is done from home.

7) Is there anything that is strictly forbidden?

Yes — no sharing client info, no unprofessional behavior. Missing intervals without notice is not allowed. Follow the rules to stay active.

8) How much money can I make?

Most agents earn between $10 to $13.50 an hour. Pay depends on the client and hours you work. You get paid biweekly or monthly.

9) If I do not have a PC, what can be done?

You need to arrange a compatible computer. Phones or tablets won’t work for this job. You must meet all tech requirements before starting.

10) What kind of experience is required?

No experience is required. We provide training for new agents. Just be willing to learn and communicate clearly.

12) What will be my day to day role?

Log in, take calls, follow client scripts. You’ll handle support tasks calmly and clearly. Schedules can be flexible or fixed.

13) Do I need to have all requirements met plios joining?

Yes — you need a working PC and internet. Also, be ready for training and meetings. Start only when all is set up.

14) How long before and can start working and earning a paycheck?

Usually within 3 to 4 weeks. You’ll need to complete training first. Pay begins after client approval.

15) Does each Client have the same requirements?

No — each client has its own schedule and system needs. Some need weekends or evening hours. You’ll choose based on your fit.

16) Who do I contact If I have additional questions along the way?

17) How often do I need to take a certification class?

Each client requires one certification class. Sometimes refreshers are needed later. We’ll guide you through it.

18) Is this Opportunity 1099 or W2?

It’s a 1099 Independent Contractor role. You work for yourself, not as our employee. You handle your own taxes.

19) What is an Independent Contractor?

An Independent Contractor is someone who works for a company but is not an employee. They work freely on their own schedule and are paid for the services they provide. They are responsible for their own taxes, equipment, and work setup. At Mom’s Gateway, you work as an independent contractor — flexible, remote, and self-managed.

20) What does Independent Contractor mean for me?

It means you work for yourself, not as an employee of Mom’s Gateway. You choose your hours, use your own equipment, and handle your own taxes. This gives you more freedom and flexibility.
